Our mission

We want to help match people with the right loan solution and quickly and efficiently as possible without negatively affecting their credit score. Credit checks are performed only when formally applying for the loan you match with.

How we're different

With some lenders and brokers and hard credit check is performed which can damage you’re credit rating. We can help you get pre-approval for a loan before formally applying.

MyJar is a broker, not a lender, and does not make credit decisions. We may receive a commission from the lender.

MyJar.uk does not charge customers a fee for using its broker services, but it might receive a commission from lenders or other brokers if a customer enters into a consumer credit agreement with a lender or broker following an introduction through this website.

Although lending partners initial eligibility checks involve a soft pull of your credit information, and there is no impact on your credit file at this stage, lending partners may subsequently conduct a hard search, prior to finalising your loan offer. This hard search would stay on your report for 12 months.
